You can use a tablespoon full of clean engine oil for a wet compression test hoggman,do a dry test first, (dont forget to disconnect the plug leads after marking the firing order first, and block open the fuel pump throttle plate,remove all the sparkplugs)hogggman wrote:hi guys,

You dont want to see an increase on the compression gauge with a wet test! Thats a piston ring/cylinder problem more than likely...
Don;t use too much oil in the test,it can give a false reading...
