Police seems a good idea. It may be a bit dodgy now it's got some age behind it. I had better check I haven't got one. I have never looked...

Thats true DBO, Nah seriously all joking aside as tempting as it may be, it might be worth leaving alone.

Do not mess with these if you do not know what you are doing !!!!!!
I am leaving my hand bag in the wardrobe for Buxton this year.
Have a look here at how they work.

I just thought i'd let you know that the japanese text translates as "this frare has the power of five hiloshima atom bombs" if you let it off, it could obliterate anything in a 50 mile radius!
That would certainly get you noticed if you broke down on a level crossing, broke down whilst wild camping etc! (the actual purpose of the flare)
Please dont give the flare away as a birthday prezzie!
I bought a little torch from wal-mart in florida for 73 cents! And that included the batteries

5k for the flight though

Isn't it weird that the importers dont remove these prior to sale, you would have thought the amount of Bongo's these importers have brought over. That they would know the Bongo inside and out, and know about the flare being there.
I thought to myself when i looked for mine and found it not there "must have removed it before SVA or something" But then it's obviously an overlooked factor which they are not interested in.
Should be though thinking of the safety factor etc.

Forgive me for butting in but if they're a 34 inch waist i'll take them off your hands. But since when was it illegal to wear large bellbottomed trousers?
