yes unfortunaley the doors do lock after 15 seconds press on the brake pedal
however the system will still work to fold the mirrors in which is the biggest pain to me. you get out lock the doors then have to get back in turn on ignition and fold in the mirrors. in the meantime the dvd player shoots out its screen and i have to wait for that to go back in before i can get out again. its only a small inconvienience but as it can be made automatic why not. have tried to be in contact with the alarm company to see if you can disable the antihijack facility but no replys yet.

Tim, back your original question.....did they ever work? Is it the switch for the mirror adjustment, or the one to fold them in? I believe there were some Bongos made without electric folding mirrors. Could it be that that you have switch, but not the gubbins in the mirrors? Just a thought....

You dont have to strip the mirror to see if it has motor's fitted or not...the electric versions have a visible dome (if you peek between the lens and housing), the non electric versions do not have the dome.
