Thats pretty rare for the ford version coolhand, you did pretty well there.
The spec of bongo's /fredas is quite perplexing, there seems to be no rhyme or reason to the very varied specifications.

I don't know, but the double amputation necessary to use them must hurt a bit.
Probably only an option on autos.

will the ford grill simply swap for a mazda one....????
Yip, they swap straight over either way, without any modification... The bonnet release catch is much easier to gain access to with the ford grille....
well mine is deffo a mazda, but its got a Ford grill, Im tempted to swap the grill for a mazda 1 but...
a) Iam a ford nut
b) It seems like the ford one has easier access to the bonnet catch...
dum de dum...

Yes I reckon it is. And the funny thing is (for me at least) that the Bongo looks really good in that colour whereas a lot of other sportier cars might look a bit tacky. You'd think it would be the other way round.
If I was getting another 95/96 model I'd be very pleased to have a blue one.

God I have a blue 1.....

Of the very many bongo's i've had the privilege of observing down the years, i have seen only one freda in "dave's blue" A few bongo's in that colour, but only one freda. (it has a different paint code from the same mazda colour too).
Post a pic dbo,so we all know which blue we are reffering to... Dabs' bongo for example, is officially a blue bongo. (although we'd say it's grey)
