Thanks keefysher & Harry for your help. I'll pop in to either Reading or Thurrock and have a look next time I'm that way. Could be just the ticket!

Ok you guys and gals,
While it was kinda my idea at least to post the question, i would be more than happy to store the marquee and to bring to the meets, and im sure there are plenty of santas helpers to erect the thing.
If i do not go to any particular meet i am sure someone will help to arrange a meeting to pick the marquee up.
Now as for Harrys marquee, he has made us a good offer, which i think we should accept ,and if funds allow we might be able to buy the other from costco as well.
So if everyone is in agreement can i now ask for £10 (a tenner) donation. I am sure we will be able to buy Harrys marquee at least.
I am willing to buy the other one from costco on the understanding,
THAT ANY MONEY LEFT FROM BUYING HARRYS WILL GO TO THE PURCHASE PRICE FROM THE ONE FROM COSTCO.
I think we deffo need two marquees just in case we dont get the good weather we seem to always get.
If we do this, can someone else be able to store the other marquee and bring to the meets.
Well up to you bongoers now. YES FOR A TENNER DONATION ?

Dave,no probs with a tenner, but why not buy one from Costco and use
Harrys as well for now, until hes ready to sell it.When he is you can look at purchasing it then. That way you can use 2 for now.I cant go,but if the cash comes in quick enuff, youll have 2 for Buxton!
Or are you saying with a tenner each you should be able to buy both?
Ill meet you at Haydock island some time and hand over cash OR even better why dont me you Dabs BDC and possibly Rooster meet in a pub
one night,midway-ish and we can have a chat over a pint.

Or even anyone locally

OK you lot here goes, i have pm'd HARRY and asked him to hold the marquee for us until he needs to sell in spring. I WILL BUY THE ONE FROM COSTCO.(THERE WAS ONLY A COUPLE LEFT)so that way, as Brian said we get both and then can sort the money for Harry as well.
IF YOU CAN DONATE A TENNER (£10) OR MORE, TO THIS WORTHY CAUSE YOU CAN SEND THE CHEQUE TO ME.
make payable to..... DAVID PINNER
PLEASE PUT YOUR FORUM NAME ON THE BACK OF THE CHEQUE.
Have been advised to take my address off the forum so pm me for the address and i will send it back to you.
pm me if you need any other info.

Dave,
You've had a brilliant idea mate.
One that may very well catch on with other bongo group meets.
Whether or not we get to attend one of the North West events, is irrelevent, unless we turn up in Hilda, our 'other' motorhome.
But I am very happy to help towards the cause.
My donation is also in the post tomorrow.
