whhhoooopppppeeeeeee

my rattle has gone.........

if any of you have a rattle when you turn off your engine then its this....

can not remember what the engineer said the pie was for.....possibly...cooler pipe..... anyway....lift the bonnet and put your arm down the right had side and you will see a long pipe which heads towards the back.....well this pipe had dropped off the mount and was rattling against the chasis....thats why i could hear it when i was stationary and was really loud when i turned the engine off....

he lifted it back onto the bracket and then tie clipped it there and jobs a good en and did not charge a penny for 3 visits to my bongo....double bonus....... bless him...

im well chuffed, travelling to derbyshire from oxford thursday and can not wait,

thanks for all your help folks,

xx

hi caznsue i had this problem could not find anywhere until i felt the rattle under my feet when wife was driving on close inspection there is two steel pipes coming from the front under neath about 2 inch round if you get under and hit the one on the passenger side and it sounds like steel hitting together this is your problem its a easy fix take the bottom shield of on the passenger side you will see a bracket holding the 2inch pipe on there is a rubber thing in center of bracket this would have split i cured mine just by spinning the rubber.
