what is that?

Hi guys, does anybody know what is that metal box that is attached to the exhaust pipe just before the flexible hose? what is its function? Any ideas? Im planning to replace my whole exhaust line. Thanks in advance.

Cold weather valve.

I doubt that you need it in the Philippines!

Part of the winter pack which also includes two batteries.

If you have a switch by your right knee with an engine symbol on it, then you have the winter pack.
