what is this plug?

Post by portybongo » Wed Jun 20, 2007 11:55 pm

Hi
Found a wee plug dangling from under the glove box (it's a mini jack - like on walkman headphones but with one strip instead of two so not stereo). Thought it might be audio related so traced it back to of all places – the handbrake! It seems to be connected to some gubbins there, so wonder what it could be for? It isn't plugged in and I can't see anywhere for it to plug into.

Any ideas?

My Bongo had a turbo timer fitted and when I stripped it out there was a connection into the handbrake light circuit, could be a similar scenario???

Nah, the light works on the dash, and the plug isn't plugged in.
