leaking fuel pump

Post by phil 1 » Fri Jun 15, 2007 3:43 pm

I have finely got around to replacing the o rings on the sides of the fuel pump but my pump is still leaking :x . it seams to be leaking from the back where the injectors come out the back do you now if there are any gaskets around this area that are likely to leak :( .
Thanks

Hi
I’ve been studying some diagrams of the fuel pump (thanks Vanmanerik)and think I’ve found a o ring I didn’t no existed. The screw that adjusts the pump screws into a plug if you remove the plug the it looks like there is an o ring fitted under it. Has any one removed this plug? Hopefully the link below show the part I’m talking about.

Are we talking about part no 12 or 13 here?
I thought no 13 was the fuel supply adjustment that controls the maximum amount of fuel to be injected thus controlling the power output although I have never attempted to adjust my motor as it runs so well and I get around 30mpg out of it .
