Hi
I just got my 96 Bongo at auction and need to get it through its MOT. So fitting a rear foglight is the next task (thanks to Clobber for helping with my speedo). Whilst fiddling with the dashboard I came across two un-used connectors on the loom. These were both on the right hand side of the steering wheel and fitted to blanks where switches would go.
Question is what are they for and can I make use of any existing wiring for my rear fog light?
Wiring colours as follows,
Top Wiring Connector
Red/Black
Red/Black
Red
Black
Bottom Right
Red/Black
Green/Yellow
Black/Yellow
Black
Black
Lots more questions to follow, found some interesting looking after-market boxes also connected on the loom.
Many thanks......Justin
Unused wiring connectors? Help needed wiring rear fog

Hi Justin,
I'm not an expert when it comes to wiring matters but the Top Wiring Connector, with the red/black, red/black wires, is the connector I used for my rear fog light. It is switched live with the lights switch and in my case needed a fuse in the fuse box under the bonnet. From memory marked fog lights.
Hope this helps,
Neil

Thanks, just found my meter and checked the wiring. Yep the Red/Black wires are +ve when the lights are on so I will use those for the rear foglight. Black is the Earth so will use that to Earth the bulb in the switch and relay.
Red would have been the supply out to the factory foglight relay but not needed so will blank it off.
Cheers......Justin
