Oh no, I've overheated!

Help, I'm a long way from home welcome to the pleasure dome!

We've over heated, coming out of the old mersey tunnel and kettled the header tank, pulled over and found two pinholes on the bleed pipe, the dilemna is this, I need to get back to the smoke by monday. Do I:

1. Bleed the system as per the fact sheet

2. Get greenflag to take the Bongo to AVA on monday

3. Find a bongo friendly garage in L'pool?

Thoughts on a postcard, PS is the BF friendly garage in Warrington, reccomended?

Cheers

Cheers Ian, thats how I'm thinking after several pints of comfort, gave you a ring earlier to find a BF garage up here, take it that you're on a data card/wifi somewhere.

Well impressed by the Grauniad piccy on the news page, spotted that the other day - didn't realise it would not be my only bongo event of the week!

Thanks Harry,

Looks like we are all sorted, shortened the bleed pipe and spent saturday on the relatives drive bleeding the bl**d*r using the see saw method. Just spent three hours sat on the M40 and it never went past 11 o/c on the guauge.

Fingers crossed!

The forum was ace for answers on this especially your contributions Pete, I also purchased the bit out of the manual as well. I've forgotten who posted the bit about the RAC man and but doing th see-saw trick with an extended funnel as well made it a lot easier.

Fingers crossed

Couldn't get any new bleed pipe of the right o/d i/d so I'll have to order one.

Thanks again
