Warning Light

I have got a niggly Intermitting problem. Red Door warning light on the dash is coming on and off when driving. Every time i excelarate it flashes on and when i take my foot off it dissappears

Had a quick check of the wiring for the doors, everything seems to be ok. Has anyone else come across this problem.

Does the interior light come on too Andy?

Its gotta be one of those pin switches surely?

Have a "play" with the switches andy,see if one of them has a lot more travel before the light extinguishes than another pin switch...

Sounds like your tailgate isn't shutting properly?

Well i never, just been out to check and Yes it was the tailgate. Went out before to check other doors but didn't think to check tailgate. Thanks Harry and bigdaddy. It's so good when that niggly feeling disappears. See you at Stainforth on Friday.

Which models have a door warning light?

Andandden's is a pre face lift 97 model (correct me if im wrong andy and denise) It has an extra bank of warning lights,as the facelift version does dandy. (fuel warning light etc.)
