Oil Leak

Post by bongosurf » Fri Apr 27, 2007 6:20 pm

I have noticed a leak on the Bongo that seems to be coming from the sump area, around the middle section of the van.
You can noticeably see the oil constantly dripping out after the van has been driven. I have obviously now parked it up and not driven it since.

Does anybody know if this is a common area for an oil leak to occur on a bongo, and also if it could potentially be leaking from some where else that makes it look like the sump ?.

Also, any idea on how easy it is to get the parts to solve this type of leak.

Thanks.

You need to clean the old oil off and then run the engine to see exactly where the oil is actually leaking from. It's probably something fairly simple to fix.
