Kanjii Colour Chart (To go with the Wiring Diagrams)

Post by phedders » Wed Apr 25, 2007 8:29 pm

For those who have the wiring diagram CD and are trying to make sense of the wiring colours, I've done a handy little chart - well I nicked the resistor code chart and put Engrish words and spashes of colour over the resistor values.

I did this cos the translation charts I found on the net were hard to match with the scanned wiring docs. Those of you with new copies with the translated index may not need this of course... but you might like having this on your wall, or beside the monitor or in another window. Anyway here it is:

Anyone know what those bottom two are? I'm stumped.
I should really thank the Gimp for all it's help.

Nah. Just can't spell. Darnit!

And where has my location gone? I'm sure I'm on the southern outskirts of London, but it does appear that I have no fixed abode.

Fixed... fixed... need Jim to fix it for me. (edit: Beat Jimmy to it.)

Well done phedders. It will certainly help me tracing wires from the CD.

The one next to the White is "gold", the last one is silver.

Cheers Panda! I've updated the chart - and knowing resistors those should have been obvious. DOH. Mind you - I've not seen any gold or silver coloured wired on my bongo.

And if anyone has hints how to draw gold and silver... :O)
Location says where I am... I'd rather be justabout anywhere else! Suggestions or job offers of/in other parts of the UK gladly received...
