I did not run the Bongo over the winter. When I used the side door it was OK and closing electically. battery started to get low and would no longer open. I assumed that when it was fully charged it would be Ok but no. It won't open. Tried locking and unlocking sentrally and directly at door, seems to lock and unlock OK, but will not open from either the inside or outside.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Which hopefully should answer your question

same happened to me motor got nickers in twist
ok get into van and before taking door apart give it a good thump near bottom left and around that area as i took whole door apart and "touched" the locking device and it kicked into action before i had chance to fix it
Failing that door is a swine to take off inner panel for one little tiny pin!!
that is hidden behind door handle its dead easy to remove and replace but u try finding it without knowing it was there
use a screwdriver and a hammer just to knock it off and then door handles will come off and then door skin then u can see what problem is.
best of luck

This is the kind of clip holding on the interior handle..........you need to get a right angled screwdriver of a piece of welding wire bent into shape to remove it - forcing it will damage the handle and clip........
