Hi Everyone,

I have visited Thurstaston today, everything is arranged for next week-end. I shall be there @ 2p.m. Friday. Anyone arriving earlier, I suggest carrying on to the end of Station Road ( a couple of hundred yards to the Wirral Country Park, where there is a visitors centre and a handy cafe at the entrance when turning in to park ) REMEMBER the entrance to our site is on the righr hand side of Station Road pointing to White's Farm Shop, our field is on the left of the entrance, there are two vintage fire engines parked near the gate. Please can we have weather like we enjoyed this past week!

Delighted with the enthusiasm and looking forward to meeting everyone.

Best Wishes,

Walter.

bigdaddycain, we will also take one of the wheels... how much? so I have the cash?

Just to confirm, we are 99% going to attend. I have to do a surgery Saturday morning  (Polotics) but once over we will be on the road. I would say we will be on the camp around 2-3pm

Just had a quick re read, do we have to book? and how much is it for the night.

Hope the weather holds up :) Think we will have 3 but maybe 4 kids with us <stress> ;)

Hello Walter, and other Wirral bound Bongoists. Just to confirm, I'll be coming and I'll be bringing my son and his friend from next door, their bicycles and (on its first outing) the trailer complete with kitchen sink. Dont expect I can leave here until around 4.30pm so reckon 6.00pm arrival. We'll have a 2-ring burner and ready cooked meal for the 3 of us and maybe a DVD to chill out with in the evening (I may leave them to it while I come out and talk Bongos). We'll have stuff for a fry up and lunch on Saturday. I dont think we'll BBQ. I reckon we will probably depart tea time on Saturday, although if the kids are dead keen, we could stay on for Saturday night if we have enough provisions.

Is the Park suitable for the kids to go off riding their bikes while I chat Bongo stuff with the grown-ups (is that what we call ourselves!?!?!).

Looking forward to it.

Just to confirm there are no charges! it's free.

Delighted that my good friends Alan & Dee are attending. Alan has visited before.

The weather forecast looks good for us.

I am trying to locate some paving for B-B-Qs, no luck so far, if any of us can bring suitable protection for the grass please bring it, the field is sometimes let for sheep grazing. If this is a success we might want the use of the field on the same terms!

Looking forward to meeting all you fellow Bongo members.

Regards,

Walter.

I forgot to mention that the Wirral Way is excellent for cycling, which is just down the lane - perfectly safe!

Walter.

Excellent Walter. I'll even stick my old 1960s Raleigh 3-speed on the back (I kid you not!) so I can join in the fun.
Looking forward v. much to it and thanks for putting such an excellent meet together.

Hi Walter,
Its Dave up north here.

Not sure if anyone will remember me and Erin, as its been ages since we have been Bongoing.

Is there any room left at your bash?
If there is, Erin and I would love to join you all on Saturday morning and stay till Sunday.

Hope there is room as we are dying to meet up with our old mates and meet some new ones.

Ta,

Big Dave.
