front fog light mounts

Post by mancunian » Wed Mar 28, 2007 11:08 pm

Has any one measured the front fog lights mounting holes for accurate dimensioning?

I am looking to cut a mounting plate in ABS sheet to take off the shelf round Front Fog lights

Hi mancunian, could you not make a template from card, then transfer over to the sheet of A.B.S. when you are happy with the fit from the card template?

I wouldn't say I was lazy, but if the information is already out there,....
If it is not, then I will post it when I have measured them. I have access to CAM machines for cutting, hence the requirement for measurments.

It's not a regular shape so not easy to measure. I did as Bigdaddy suggested and made a template when I did mine. Sorry but I didn't keep the template.

I'm not entirely sure what you are trying to do - but I have been thinking of foglamps recently. Our Bongo is a new shape, and has different foglamp cut-outs.

What I want to do is fit some round foglamps, like on an Aero

Ring seem to make some lamps that look a possibility.

Any thoughts? (Although I'm sure Ian could terrify me with a quote on some specially imported Mazda originals)
