Just collected my Freda from Sprockets & Spanners in Bradford having had it treated with Waxoyl. It looks (and smells!) like they've done a thorough job; not bad for £145 8) Paul, who runs the place, is quite happy to work on Bongos/Fredas (he tells me he doesn't scare easily!) - so if you need a tame mechanic and you're in the area I'd suggest calling in for a chat.

StuLegg, got mine done at Hamworthy Body Shop in er..... Hamworthy. Just a couple of doors along from Imperial & do a bit together. Familiar with Bongo's important little creases and crevices. 01202 632021. Prefers cold, hard cash. For future reference, they are next door to Bongo-friendly mechanics at R D Motors 01202 624575. Hope that helps.
