Where to go?

If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.

Where to go?

Post by thomp1983 » Fri Feb 20, 2026 8:43 am

Not sure if this is the right forum but it is about trips.

So looking forward towards the kids 6 weeks holidays when my bongo should hopefully be fully back on the road I'm looking for recommendations for where to go with a 6 year daughter.

We live in Nottinghamshire and I don't think the trips will be longer than 2 or 3 nights away but is there any sites you guys can recommend?

Thanks
Chris

Late reply, but from Nottingham the East Coast is easily accessible.. it can be a bit of a hark back to the old days of British holidays, but places like Mablethorpe can still be fun for youngsters.
There’s a big beach and all the usual cliche seaside ‘attractions’, on a sunny day there’s little that can beat a day on the beach digging the sand (hiding behind a wind break or beach tent to shelter from the wind.
