Hi Bongo Fury
I was encouraged to join by a friend of mine who also had a Bongo. I have a bit of an issue with mine and I’m a bit lost on what to do.
I have a 1998 model with, Auto box. I love the van so much, had it for 6 years, very few issues now this.
The team at ADS in Bristol have been searching for one and not managed to apart from buying a whole vehicle. Plus it’s had some MOT issues that need solving. Total bill mainly due to gearbox is high and I’m a bit stuck
The gearbox is BM715
I guess I have a few options, scrap it, find a gearbox they can fit, or pay the big bill.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
All the best, Ryan

Re: Gearbox and hello!
Welcome aboard!
You will probably find a spare gearbox from one of the companies below, not quite sure where your based so have a look around and ring these sites, probably best to ring them as stock often changes and web sites take a few days (or longer
) to get updated!
These companies do a range of spares, not all will have everything so try them all;
For smaller parts its probably best to ring companies as not all the smaller parts make it on to the web sites!

Re: Gearbox and hello!
Recommend you check with ADS if they’re happy to fit a used gearbox supplied by someone else.
There can be warranty issues if things should go wrong.
I use ADS, and I'm happy with them, but personally I would prefer to have any part supplied and fitted by the same garage.
