V6 Oxygen Sensor HELP??

Post by coppen » Tue Feb 11, 2025 10:42 pm

Looking to replace the o2 sensor on my 2000 V6 Bongo.

Just done a diagnostic and pulled the code for this and its completely dead....no resistance reading at all.

Spent the last hr trawling the forum search and google but can't find a definate answer.

I know the genuine part number is: J50518861A but does the universal Denso DOX-0109 work just as well???

Mines a 2 wire/2 pin connector (White/Blue) whereas the DOX-0109 is a 4 wire/connector but have read it works.

Is it just a simple case of splicing the correct wires and changing the connector plug??

OR

Is there a place to buy a genuine oe for reasonable money...so far found https://www.amayama.com/en/part/mazda/j50518861a at £100 odd

You can Google the part number or search for Lambda Sensor butt there not cheap ! Mazdabongo.com seem to have them all listed https://mazdabongo.com/?s=lambda+sensor ... pe=product

Yeah did all that....very vague with no part numbers and silly prices on that site. Google was useless. Only amayama.com seem the best option just don't wat to wait another 4 weeks.

Seems to be very difficult to source any genuine parts in the uk for sensible prices....everythings at least double the price!
