Alternator for 2.0.........

Mine has started making 'supercharger' type whirring noises which rise and fall with the revs. Looked up for a replacement £120 for a used one from Bongo Spares, few dodgy looking one's on Ebay for circa £100 and a recon one for £443 eek!

Heads up for others as there are not many posts or outlets that seem to sell them for the 2.0; the diesel and V6 seem to have much more choice, I ordered this afternoon a fully recon'd one from Auto Jap Spares for £250 with a £100 refund when the old unit is returned, already on route to me with free post too!
