Heater Linkage passenger side

Post by Sophiemay » Fri May 24, 2024 11:40 pm

Hi,

We are new Bongo owners and the air con has not been working in the front(is lovely in the rear) It is a 2l 2002 Tintop with digital dual climate control. We have narrowed it down to the passenger side Heater Linkage. If I uncouple it and pull it down the air con is cold if I push it up heat....How to I repair this? Is it the motor or does it connect elsewhere and that's the issue? Appreciate any help here please

No the servo drives the link directly nothing else involved at the mechanical level.
Is the servo making any noises as you adjust the temperature ? If not then it might be faulty itself or the the control module could be faulty. If it does make a small noise then likely the servo itself needs repair/replacing.

That's great, thank you, no noises to speak of. I've disconnected the linkage and pushed the thingy down for now in order to get the air con into the cab. Any suggestions on where I can buy a new servo? Thanks in advance

Bongo Spares, near Sowerby Bridge, are a reliable source of used spares.

Welcome aboard. 8)

I have this list of likely sources;
These companies do a range of spares, not all will have everything so try them all;
