Seat runners
What's the best way to lubricate and smooth the seat runners?
Re: Seat runners
I’m no expert but the only thing I’d say is be careful as any coloured lube may impact on the carpets, and also as the temp rises inside it may be more likely to become fluid and drip.
An old tip for lubricating zips is to use a solid bar of soap or candle wax, I guess fairy liquid might work too but again I’d be careful how liberally I were to apply it (though it would wash out easily I guess).
I have some ‘dry’ chain lube for pushbike chains, that’s not coloured and might be ideal.
I picked that up to try on my bike as it was pretty cheap in Aldi/Lidl, may test it out (though to be honest although mine seem pretty dry they run freely enough).
I wonder what Mazda use.?
