Yes its a common option for quite a few of the manual pop tops if you study the adverts.

Re: Tin top 2 pop up top
One person has and he won't do it again, because the roof on an AFT is double skinned, you have to cut off the entire roof, of both vehicles and then weld the AFT top onto the old Tintop, then you need the entire wiring loom from the AFT vehicle all the way back to dashboard as the looms fitted are different. So yes possible but it would have been cheaper to sell the Tintop and buy an AFT version!
Re: Tin top 2 pop up top
I totally disagree, you do not need to do all of that talking from experience
Re: Tin top 2 pop up top
There is a sub frame in the aft that can be cut out and the tin top has the bolt holes ready for it to be bolted in,
Then it’s just a case of drilling many holes for your aft rails.
Also I have just wired the aft up my self without the aft module

Re: Tin top 2 pop up top
That sounds good if you can, I know Stuc did it by cutting the old one off at the top of the pillars and welding the replacement one on. However the mechanical diagrams don't show any bolt holes in the underlying Tintop section ?

Re: Tin top 2 pop up top
Ye that diagram won’t because the bolt hole are on the body not the roof, I am at the point the roof is fitted and working, I am just doing interior and the little bits
