Hi all,
On a recent trip to the Isle of Mull our auxiliary belt pulley (plastic) melted rendering the van none driveable. Alternator/power steering/water pump down. So we had to get flatbeded from Oban to Cairnryan to get ferry to Belfast. Nightmare.
I have sourced the relevant parts, but would like to have guidance on how this is replaced.
Belt was broke so no worries about removal there.
The pully tensioner obviously melted. I have been able to remove the bottom 8mm nut on the tensioner but cant locate the top nut. Do I have to remove further pulleys then remove the cam cover to access?
Any help in the dept would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Iain

I just got stuck into removing the 2 visible 17mm bolt and 8mm hex off it came now to knock out £283.53 for replacement and belt, probably order an extra belt to be sure.
