Seatbelt removal

Post by hawko » Wed Sep 14, 2022 10:10 pm

Hi all,

Hopefully a quick and simple one :) Just looking to remove the middle seatbelt from the right side of the van, but i cant figure out how to get if off its fiixings, any clues? Am i going to have to remove various trim panels to get access to it to then remove it?

Thanks in advance!

The top fixings are just bolted in under the plastic covers ? See the mech diagrams http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsm ... mgno=.html

Ahh nice, didn't realise those plastic bits would come off nice and easy, i'll have another look then.

Out of interest, do you know what the general rules are for having to have belts present is? Only i still have both seats in there currently, so i guess technically someone could sit in that seat and have no belt available if i take it out. Not sure if that breaks some rule or its just down to owner to not let any passenger travel without a belt on, i.e. don't let anyone ever sit there

The covers are quite hard to remove, they have thick plastic clips down the side that clamp around the plate.
