electric windows
I recently fitted a new switch to the driver's door on my bongo, and soon after the passenger window went wrong. I opened it and it just went straight back up again and now won't open. I can't find a fault with the switch and have tried isolating both switches, but to no avail. Does anybody have any advice?
Re: electric windows
Welcome aboard!
First have you checked electrically the wiring looms to both doors, lots of problems especially the drivers where wires break in the loom at the hinge this normally causes simple failures to operate, but there is a possibility for less obvious faults as well.
Second why did you need to replace the drivers door switch, have you been able to prove that it was switch failure rather than intermittent failure in the wiring loom as above ?

Re: electric windows
Thanks for this, I'll check through the wiring in the door hinges. I needed to replace the driver's switch as it was broken, the windows were working fine for a few days and then we had the problem with the passenger window. I don't think the two issues are related, but wondered if anybody has noticed a similar issue...
