Solenoids

Hi, got a friend who is having problems changing into 4th when warn….getting message… 2002 V6. Got the code, it won't go into top when it's warm - P0743 TCC solenoid
Any advice welcome

I've seen mention that on some of the boxes some of the solenoids can be replaced individually others have to be replaced as a single unit.
Page 40 shows the solenoid in question http://www.g8dhe.net/bongo_images/gearbox/RC4AEL.pdf there are several pictures around that page that show the solenoids position etc.
