Having a few issues with door electrics - the central locking is intermittently failing - seems in conjunction with the electric window controls on the passenger side failing. Have replaced window controls but the problem persists - anyone else had this problem?
Also rev counter intermittently drops out and the hold light comes on…
Any advice gratefully received as taken it to garage a few times and problems not sorted
many thanks

Re: Electrics issues
Welcome aboard!
The drivers door problem is almost certainly the drivers door loom where it crosses over on the lower hinge, the wires inside the tubing snap with age, you can either get a repair kit https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mazda-Bongo- ... 4668824336 or wait for an "out of stock" complete replacement https://bongoland.co.uk/product/wiring-harness/ from the Bongo shop!
Replacement loom involves http://www.g8dhe.net/bongo_images/Drivers_door_loom/
The Rev counter is often the sensor, you don't say which engine so can't pin point it for you, but if the ECU doesn't know the engine speed it has to guess the gear you need to be in, hence the flashing ECU Error light!
