Has anyone come across an alternative to NDC roof rack/rails?
They are all sold out of NDC and I cant find an alternative for my factory AFT roof?

Ian did have a firm in Sheffield that made a very good one but there no longer available, they ran the length down the sides between the fixing bolts and you added as many cross roof beams as you wanted, plus they allowed you to fit a solar panel nicely as well.
Any chance Ian that there could be another company your way that could reproduce it ?

The previous firm went in to liquidation. I've tried other firms. But, apart from a steel shortage (which is why New Dawn are struggling) the Rotherham firm I last approached wanted a minimum order of 500. I could only afford to buy 20 in advance. So I told them to get lost.

Ouch yes the MOQ is what kills so many things, didn't realise there was a steel shortage however

There is a guy in Galway who makes up roof rails to fit the factory holes in the AFT roof at €60 a pair, I just ordered a set, he has supplied them to several owners over here, so know they will fit.
Made with galvanized so wont rust.

Haven't seen any advertised in ages, I think quite a few people make up there own with custom brackets to fit the mountings in the AFT roof.

Thanks so much. It is an aero friendee with a factory pop top. It doesn’t have the gutters/channels in the top but does have four holes in the top which look like they could sit bars on top. I need to be able to transport a kayak as my daughter is competing. I haven’t been able to find any that will fit/anyone that will make them and Thule helpline say their bars have not been tested for bongos. So any advice would be much appreciated!
