Can anybody enlighten me as to how I can remove the non opening NSR windowl "catch"?
I can find no obvious way to release the device to gain access to the glass retaining screw.
The lush diagram shows the same Pno as the opener so not a lot of help.
PS
I realise the window doesnt open.

You remove the trim then unbolt it from the panel, it then pivots outwards to allow access to the nut for the glass.

Re: NSR Window glass
I removed the outer trim from the D panel but couldnt see any screws. Is it behind the inner track trim?
Re: NSR Window glass
I would imagine that you just remove the cover of the dummy hinge to access the screws.
Re: NSR Window glass
Its the dummy catch end. The cover has a sort of hinge pin running through. I have tried tapping this out but its solid. I huess its secured behind the inner trim cover so that would mean dropping out the electric blind runners
Seems a lot of bother. I would have expected it to more easy to release.

Re: NSR Window glass
You don't need to remove any trim.
It's years since we had tinted rears fitted, and although I was there when it was done I don't recall exactly what the chap did, but no trim came off.
