Sliding Door Sticking
Hi guys, I've had a look round and can't see any postings relating to this problem so I wonder if anybody has had something similar. The sliding door when opened does not pop out enough at the bottom and occasionally catches on the bodywork. The wheel arches do need doing and there is some filler down there at the point that it catches but I'm concerned that when i do get the arches done in a few weeks time the door will still catch and scratch the new paintwork. I've taken off the inside panel and greased everything that moves. I've adjusted the runners and greased up the outside slider but nothing improves it. I've put a wad of felt pads where the black rubber stopper rests so that it gives it a bit of a spring when it opens but that seemed to work on the day I was doing it but today two days later it stuck again. I'm guessing that when you pull the handle to open the door, the door should spring out first and then slide back but it doesn't seem to be doing that at the bottom. Any ideas would as always be appreciated

Re: Sliding Door Sticking
The door does not pop-out at all! As it runs on wheels to the right the guides top, bottom and middle guide the door outwards.
If you have greased the runways, then clean the grease out, and oil/grease the bearings of the wheels that run in the guideways! You don't run round greasing the roads before you drive on them
The grease however does cause sand and grit to stick in the guideways making for an awe-full result with snags and bumps as the door runs to the right.
