Mine is the 8.4" with the lift up screen, perhaps it was me being heavy handed putting in and taking out discs, I did consider the 10" side disc version, looks really good but I thought if a disc gets stuck in there that would be the end of it. Have to say the 8.4 is brilliant and it does get used every day, when all is done and I have the new unit I will post the result. Good luck with yours. Happy motoring.

Satellite Too!

As a matter of interest... I visited Maplins in the Sales and purchased the NIKKAI 9.2 inch LCD TV/DVD Combo (built in Freeview decoder and aerial) along with the Portable Satellite (Camping Suitcase) System. Grand total £215. Brill fun trying to 'fish' for Satellites but what a reward. Some very strange programmes out there

Thanks David. Been watching Day After Tomorrow on it tonight while I waited for my daughter and her friend to do their 2 1/2hrs Duke of Edinburgh evening. Had cold beer and some Butterkist with me and made a bed and backrest out of the rear seats. Fantastic!
