TIMER/BUZZER (S25E 67720)
Hi. My timer/buzzer was so quiet the only way I could hear it was if I had my head in the drivers footwell. When I managed to get to it I found that if I touched the plastic outer case it gave an single loud beep. In my logic I thought if I gave it a tap to the case it might encourage it back to its normal sound, it did work after a few taps but I think I gave it one tap to many as it stopped working completely. Is it possible test it out or do I just have to replace it with one that works?

Bit more than a Buzzer its the Sound Warning System, takes several inputs and Beeps away merrily to annoy some people and keep the rest of us safe

Handy to know Bongy is in reverse.
It's possible to back up a couple of feet, foot on brake, forget and go the wrong was as you start off.
Edit: And I value the reminder when I leave the lights on.

I hear what you say, and if the world was prefect we wouldn't need ABS, or seat belts, or air bags...
Re: TIMER/BUZZER (S25E 67720)
As I have left the lights on twice recently which flattened the battery once. I tend to agree that it is a bit more than a warning system and would prefer to hear a few beeps than be stuck some where with a flat battery.g8dhe wrote: Tue Nov 12, 2019 3:36 pm Bit more than a Buzzer its the Sound Warning System, takes several inputs and Beeps away merrily to annoy some people and keep the rest of us safe![]()
Thanks for all the comments.
Re: TIMER/BUZZER (S25E 67720)
Thanks for your time in looking into your spare. I thought there would not be any moving parts inside that I could repair myself so you have saved me the time and effort. as the club is closed at moment I am in limbo as to what is the next step. Any help in locating a working replacement would be great .plonkatronix wrote: Wed Nov 13, 2019 12:17 pm You should know what gear you're in at all times or you shouldn't even be driving, I certainly do not rely on beeps for anything, the driver is responsible for being in control. Henry ford didnt even fit a horn, thay was an afterthought lol
Back on subject: I havnt bothered to upload any photos as there is little you will be able to do on said Pcb, I would be enclined to by all means take it apart and examine for corrosion or damage but there is only 1 ic and a mainly pile of diodes amongst others.
Advice: replacement through the club, if they haven't any in stock, pm me... Not wanting any toe stepping
