Blowing my top! Thermo problem!

Hi folks, new to the forum, hoping someone can shed some light on a problem.
i have a 99 v reg B2500 pickup, rwd non turbo, i am trying to find a thermostat casing and an elusive short stumpy thermostat to fit! I am using a 2nd hand repaired casing, but since i threw the thermostat that was fitted away (since it stopped working) and now the air is becoming cooler, i need some warmth!! i am having trouble finding one that has the cut out for the bottom casing. I have just emailed a Bongo specialist in Southampton so i am hoping i may get some joy here? the truck is obviously an early one and made before Fords took over with the ranger, and it seems i must have one of only a handful that are fitted with this casing???
I am not so good on downsizing images, but if anyone can help, please pm me and i can give you my email for pics or mobile via whatsapp? Any help would be great!

Hi Ian, it looks as though i have finally sorted it! But thank you very much. on another note, can you tell me, if the or A rear diff (lsd) from a bongo will fit my rear wheel drive B2500? or do you know if they ever made an LSD for these early 2wd models?

What I've established is that the thermostat is the same as the Bongo Friendee (Mazda part KL0115171) but there seem to be 3 variations of the housing. Take a look at www.partsouq.com and navigate to the coolant page (1500B) and you will see what I mean. Your vehicle is shown as a B-Series (UN) 2.5D.

No I idea about LSD though......
