Creaking noise

Post by egor110 » Wed Feb 14, 2007 8:11 pm

When i go over speed bumps even at a crawl my bongo makes a creaking noise, but not all the time.
Anyone got any suggestions?

creaking noise

Mine does this too, as did my 1982 VW camper. In some conditions (warmer and drier) the bongo doesn't make the noise. My inclination is to not do anything about it.

My suggestion would be to find a volunteer who can bounce/rock the van whilst you have a listen from below. Hopefully, that should at least establish if it is front or rear. I would then get one of those trigger-action spray bottle thingies, fill it with water & give each of the rubber bushes a squirt until you find the offending one. Then consider replacing it & it's matching other half.
