is this possibly just what is known as bongo paranoia. joking aside many people who have been or are still going through what you have been through start to not see the wood for the trees and judgement starts going wonky.
is it just possible that 14 lts of coolant at say 50 -60 deg c measures less in volume than it does after several days of cooling down to say 5-10 deg c, in the early days i fell for this myself, i would run it for a while and build up your confidence in the bongo again providing no obvious faults occur, maybe little local journeys initially just in case. some bongos do take a while to settle down to their level, some NEVER sit at the full mark but find there own level, often just between the 2 marks. Hello Northern Bongolow
You wise words of wisdom do hit a cord, I am of the opinion it's possibly still air coming out and maybe I should just run it for a while to see how it settles. I will carry a litre of coolant with me just in case mind.

Funny this forum is truly brilliant with all the good information given, but casually reading can create some over anxious owners..

Thanks again for your advice now and previously.

You're right there.

A while back Mike pointed out that sometimes reading things on here can be like sitting in A&E.

You would think that most people had heart problems and broken limbs. 8)
