hi guys neddy boy here, thanks for the advice already given.i hope to collect my fully converted bongo in about 2 weeks,i will no doubt have a million questions for you experienced people so please be patient with me.mean while i been thinking ,is it possible to fit roof rails like used on estate cars / 4x4 to existing holes in roof or could a set be modified to fit?this would allow me to fit my cross bars/top box and slide into various positions.thanks again.

Indeedley doodley! There are two captive M10 bolts on either side to accept roof bars.

I think you'll find that the captive nuts are 8mm. Ensure that whatever you screw into them don't bottom out.
