Tin Top Factory Sunroof Glass removal.

Post by windywatson » Thu Mar 09, 2017 8:54 pm

Hi all,
I have a leaking factory sun roof on my tin top. Only a minor one & the ingrees does drip into traps that are fitted with drains to take it away. However if the van is parked on a slope the water getting in some times misses the traps & drips into the roof lining. Having looked at the seal the glass needsa to come out & have a new seal fitted. The glass does look as though it could be removed by the realease of certain number of catches on the underside. I have not been able to work out how to do this & don't want to force anything.
Any one ever romeved one?

Cheers

A search for "+sunroof +leak" finds several references this one seems quite helpful http://igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/view ... 53#p407853
