Bongo now for sale, booo

Well, it got listed this evening on ebay.
A disappointing ending to the experience, although one sadly unavoidable.

It's been a pleasure being a bongo owner and the help on this forum has been first rate, so thank you all for the kinds words, especially whilst building the conversion.

Good luck to you all with your vans and i'm sorry i never got to meet up with the Bongonauts!

Always sad to hear of a Bongo being put up for addoption, but do remember you are most welcome at any of the Meets.

You're one of us so what you drive doesn't matter. 8)

You've certainly got to know your bongo well.
Let's hope bongo's adopters appreciate your conversion, which I recall was ingenious and looked very smart.

Well, it's gone.
I sold it last week on ebay, only for thw buyer to pull out saying that he couldn't get insurance. I was pretty hacked off!
I relisted it and ended up selling it via autotrader to a woman in Scotland! She saw it yesterday on there, and flew down this morning! A lovely woman who already has one that is suffering with rust a wee bit. So i know it is good, loving hands, which is a good thing as it deserves to be used and loved.
I may still pop in from time to time as i like the forum.

Thanks for all your help, it's been educational!

Sounds like you've found a suitable new owner, gutting to let your Bongo go, though.

Do call in here now and again. 8)
