I don't think I'll ha e any problem mounting the stalk as it's a pretty compact unit however I seem to ha e hit my first major hurdle after asking for advice from Connects2 who manufacture the harnesses "Unfortunately we would not recommend trying to retrofit a steering control from a Ford into a Mazda. This would be a very difficult if not impossible project to undertake.
You would need to contact a professional fitter who is familiar with both Mazda Bongo and and systems to see if this can be achieved. Even if you do get the stalks working then it is unlike that our interface would be compatible."
So my first job is too find a good auto audio guy (in the northwest, any suggestions anyone?)
Why be the same as everyone else when, with a bit of effort, you can be different?

'Tis done! I sent all the info/pics to Ian to see if it's OK to post as a fact sheet. Pumpkin head unit controlled by CMax stalk sitting comfortably under wiper arm - quite chuffed with myself!
