No LSD fitted, if there was you couldn't stop one wheel.
Take a torch, toilet roll, and tea bags.

Yep, thanks. I think I've come to that conclusion. I assumed it would be, just wanted to check. Also confirmed with the Russian website. I have a normal diff.

I am tempted to swap it out for an LSD for my off road activities !!

I'd be interested to hear how you get on with that. 8)

As it was safely chocked and on axle stands, I started her up. Both wheel spin, but you can stop either wheel with your foot and the other will spin.

What does this mean????
Prop shaft rotating? Put it in Park then other wheel should turn.

Cheers will try that - yes the prop shaft turns if either wheel is turned.

I think the diff is ok (if a little whiney) but I am still keen to put an LSD in for my occasional off road trips. Combined with snow chains, I think it will handle most conditions with proper 2 wheel grip, instead of one spinning and one stopped.

Does anyone know what the approx. price of a used LSD is for a Bongo?
