hi.
get the correct weight rated alloys for your heavy bongo, with the correct psd, or stud pattern, get the correct centre hole diamiter, as its this hole that supports the weight of the bongo, not the studs.
finally and as important, most alloys have to have a different set of nuts to seat alloys correctly, steel nuts/wheels have a different angle to the wheel.

best to talk to someone who knows what they are doing/selling like .

these guys have several styles both new and refurb with tyres of your choice.. dont forget the spare especially if your 4 wheel drive, the spare needs to have the same rolling circumference and keep a set of steel nuts to fit the spare if its a steel.

This should help you , just remember the load rating. You can cross reference the bongo PCD(pitch circle diameter) ETC with other vehicle

Thank you for your help - very informative and great advice.

Now I need to find some nice wheels! - I only need 4 as the space for the spare is taken up with my LPG conversion.

Wheelquick, in Wigan, are top Bongo and alloy experts if you're near there.

Well, they're experts if you're not near there but you get the point...
