Roof bar bolts

Hi all! Can anyone tell me what size the bolts are for fitting the roof bars to the aft roof, please?

From memory I think they are M8 sure someone else will confirm.

M8 x 1.5 is the correct pitch for the thread.

and don't forget the length required, please don't try and extract the 'captive' nut.
the not very pretty washers adjust the length of contact without cutting the bolt. (corrosion)

ps the installation was a standard gutter clamp system with the clamp removed and an hole drilled for the bolt
(thanks to an old post for the suggestion, kirsty I think)
