Coolant bleed respect due !

Post by BongoBongo123 » Tue Feb 02, 2016 11:23 pm

What a Palava, I get a garage to do mine but feel like a cop out Bongo owner for not doing it. But I take my hat off to Missfixit70 in this video and Haydn as well. Great video, I only wish I had the confidence with an accomplice to do this job. One of those if it goes ok it's fine until it doesn't I guess.

They really know their stuff ! Does the lady in the video till post on here or own a Bongo, is she Haydns Mrs, obviously Haydn posts on here ? Great video guide.

(I note a Tribal Elder title on my posts... more like Bongo - new apprentice)

Thought that now I'm in my 4th year of bongoing I should try the Bongo coolant tango after giving the system some TLC this Spring. Keen to learn it but apprehensive to say the least.

Bled mine twice, before that video was made I think. Went OK for me using the workshop manual method :-)

Kirsty was great, much missed on here.

Yep, Kirsty was on here for a long time and certainly knows her stuff.

Not related to Haydn, but she did/maybe still owns a Bongo. A very good friend of BF and many of us here.

Last I heard she was using FB and still well.

I remember her .. a very well respected member .. who seemed to disappear 'over night' with (as far as I can remember) no reason or explanation ..
