As above white smoke and takes ages to fire up. Got it booked in for service and glow plugs in the morning but its gone a bit nippy here again. Got 11.5 v at Glow plug rail.
Got battery on charge in the warm but bongo sat out in the street.
Bit concerned it wont start to get it to garage by 0900hrs.
Any advice to ensure i get it going would be appreciated, got can of quick start but reluctant to use.
Thanks folks.

Good idea to keep the battery in the warm and charged, Baz, and I agree with not using the spray.
My best thought is to 'Cycle' the glow plugs a couple of times before you try to start, ie turn on until light goes out, turn off and repeat.
Good luck.

Thanks Bob i've put my silver screens in lifted driver and passenger seats and stuck a paraffin lamp in engine compartment.
Might keep i a bit warmer especially if it catches Fire.

I guess you know how to sort it if it does.

Parafin lamp ?
Gulp, that sounds rather dangerous. Hope it starts ok... I have seem a bit of smoke on start when I have my rare winter (on a steep slope) start issue. (which I have not seen for a while now since loosening off the diesel tank cap)
Good luck.
