Front heater knob
It just stopped Chief! Turned the front heater knob and nothing. But the rear heater fan works fine.
Is there a separate fuse for the front fan?
Have searched through the FAQ's and a little confused as to what might be wrong, fan motor, resistor.
Appreciate any feedback please.

Re: Front heater knob
Assuming your the older mechanical style type (there are no knobs on the Climate Control version) then the fuses that can affect the front fan operation are;

and the controls;

After that then you need to check the motor and its thermal fuses on the resistor pack;

and the resistor pack thermal fuses;

Re: Front heater knob
And check that a tight fan motor and resultant high current flow isn't the underlying cause of the resistor pack overheating and desoldering. Tight fan motor results from blocked windscreen gutter drain allowing water to fall onto motor and corrode bearings etc over time.

Re: Front heater knob
Thanks Geoff. I like your methodical approach. I can now run through those checks. I have the older type being a 1995 model.
Mike have checked motor which at this stage runs free.
Cheers Guys

Just realised Geoff's photographs can be clicked on to reveal how to strip down heater fan.

The strip down - of the fan - was courtesy of Ady at the last Bash!

Nice one Geoff for not taking all the glory.
Really appreciate your help though with your quick response and methodical approach to the problem.
Ady is the boy. Great sequence of photos.
Thanks all. Will get out there this weekend and go through the checks and strip down where necessary.

You are right NB. You helped me recently as well. Its great to know to know there is help out there. What a great club this is.
I've now owned my Bongo for over 11 years and the nice thing about it is knowing it is fixable. Just need a bit if help on the way sometimes.

Great Club sums it up, Tim.
Great team, great friends, great fun.
And there's so many favours 'Behind the Scenes' that don't go public.
