Simon Jones, bongo expert on here often recommends a well priced Bosch you can buy online. Have a search for 'Bosch AND battery' and you might find his advice.

I think any suitably sized battery that has the terminals the right way round will do. Definitely worth fitting a high amp hour battery in my opinion (90 is fine) since its a campervan and you can never have too much power on board.

If you order from Euro Parts there is a 10% voucher on line, just Google 'Euro Parts Voucher'.

The XR code worked yesterday when I ordered a battery for my Mum's car.

This is the Bosch jobbie. Some websites list the wrong type with the terminals reversed so check they are correct.

I put a 096 battery in mine 680 A(EN) cranking amps. Perfect fit & a far more popular sized battery. When choosing a starter battery I would say cranking amps is far more important than the Ah rating.

Agree but to some extent doesn't one tend to be higher when the other is higher?

ordered by click and collect yesterday but they had lost it in the warehouse. Be in today at 4pm. in the meantime I put my 8+ year old panasonic on CTEK codition and charge overnight and it is fully charged. 3 months ago breakdown said it was fine from a tester.

Question is do I replace or keep it?

I'm with Mike.

At 8 years its on borrowed time, it'll pack up on a cold morning and you'll wish you did it.

I think its good call.

They never pack up at a convenient time and you still have to spend the money.

The one with the correct terminals for the Bongo is part no. 444773357.
