They appear to list a Bosch and Mann oil filter which are both good makes. Last time I ordered an oil filter from them, it was a different brand but was made in Japan and did the job perfectly. Reminds me: I need to do an oil and filter change on mine soon.

With regards to plugs, I splashed out on NGK Laserline LPG1 plugs which are optimised for running on gas. They're round about £12 each which is about 10 times the cost of conventional plugs but hopefully they make it run a little better.

That's the exact same oil filter I got for my V6 Alphard .. but I used Blue Print on my Bongo ..

Euro Car Parts fully synthetic oil was on offer over Christmas @ £19.43 for five litres delivered ...

The bonus though was two for the price of one .. So I paid £19.43 for ten litres delivered .. !!

I use (expensive) NGK LPG Iridium plugs in both in my Estima and my V6 Alphard .. only because they are a 'bit' difficult to get to and change ..

The seats and floor have to come out on the Esti ... the inlet manifold has to off to get to the bulkhead three on the Alphard ..

The Bongo in comparison is literally a childs job to do .. and is far more economical as I use cheap (@ £10 for six) standard NGK BKR5E 11 sparkies .. but I close the gap down from 1.1mm to just 1.0 mm

mikeWalsall ,you just brought back memories of the Volkswagen Variant, we used to remove the engine to replace the spark plugs on these vehicles as it was quicker and it amused the owners.

My 2003 V6 Alphard was a 'fresh import' .. I am the first UK owner ..

Dunno if the iridium plugs had ever been changed .. when they came out they still looked in good nick ..

But from the Lexus / Estima Forums and documented problems in changing them, I got the LPG converter to do them while the manifold was off ..

But @ £36 for six (delivered) not to bad if they last for 5-6 years without changing ..
